Scooby Dancer,
If you are sure it's the same car. Let plod know.
The more evidence against the a$$holes the more punishment.
But how can you ever give substantial punishment to a killer?
Heartfelt sympathies for the loss of life.
Hope evryone stays safe.
Lexx.

The sad thing about owning a Subaru is that because of these twa-ts we are classed as chavs & boy racers

Then he walks away without even a penalty point.

First of all, I'm very sorry to hear about your sister in law, my condolences.

I understand what the policeman was saying, but I really don't see how that argument could apply to someone driving at 3 times the limit in a 30 zone. This is self evidently not just something very unfortunate that could have just happen to any honest Joe, as they simply wouldn't be doing that kind of speed in a built up area.

This was a death caused by someone deliberately driving well in excess of their abilities under totally inappropriate conditions and in direct contravention of the applicable speed limit by a huge margin.

We simply cannot tolerate people like this on our roads and the legal system must not be seen to take these matters lightly. Offences of this type should result in a lifetime ban and a prison sentence more in accordance with manslaughter! To have a situation where sentences are capped purely because the life was taken in an RTA is unnacceptable. Someone has died as a result of willful and gross negligence on the part of someone else, the car is incidental.

At least it may help, and if you did see a "kid" driving one of these cars, then it would mean he is uninsured, etc etc...

The prob is now,if you have the cash, you can drive what you want. With tragic results.
the problem with doing that is its stops younger people who can drive high performance cars well doing so
