"'m sure others can do better!! Okay, my example might appear daft, but come on! I think you'd argue black is white so as not to accept anyone else's point of view!!!"
i doubt it - TBH i'm not really fussed about any of the issues in this story. I have no issue with the level of big brother intrusion (cameras on razors - as per your link - are of no concern to me) amd i'm not keen it people shooting wild animals for fun.
so all in, someone doing something i dont like is hassled by laws i'm not fussed about = good. if you want to make a big deal of the fundementals then crack on.

Tesco weren't so secutity concious when the front and rear spoilers were ripped off my old Impreza. The only cctv camera outside was not working. Theft happened in broad daylight (1.30 pm) near the store entrance. Wrote a letter of complaint and was written one back saying tough **** basically. Hence, why I have avoided shopping at Tescos at all costs.

I agree that the Tesco employees were wrong in their actions and should apologise for them. The police should have pointed out to them that there is no suggestion of illegal activity (in that photo, at least) and they would be taking no further action.
Having said that, by all means shoot animals for food, but the bloke does look like a fool by posing for that photo - why would anyone be impressed that a bloke with a big f*ck-off gun has got the better of that animal?

Personally i dont think it has anything to do with civil rights, abuse of privacy etc.
The crux of any situation lies at the very circumstances that create that situation in the first place. IMO, in this case it was an employee of Tesco who was ill-equipped to identify a perfectly legal situation from an illegal one.
But then it would be ridiculous to suggest that 1) this person should be trained to make judgements such as this and 2) that they should have this responsibility.
So to all those out there who rubbish anyone who suggests this was the correct way to handle the situation*, what should have happened and what processes should the likes of Tesco have in place where their (un-informed) staff cant tell the difference between legal and illegal activity?
*edited to make sense

You call that an insult brumdaisy? Blimey, you're more sheltered than I thought. I'd say it was a rather accurate description of his post, which added little to the debate. Much like your post, which is a pity. Have you anything to add? .... thought not. The debate is most definately about privacy and liberty to go about ones own business without fear of intrusion by do-gooders.
Oh, and if you want a real insult...I'd say you're a labour-luvvy, ex-public-sector, poorly educated, whinge-bag, whose posts make bugger all sense to man nor beast. I could go on, but I'd rather not waste my energy. Oh, okay, I will. I bet you're fat and ugly as well, kipper flaps
Put that in your vagininomous and smoke it You come on here talking utter gob****e...you've never owned a Scooby, in fact I've no idea what you do drive, but it probably reflects your personality superbly.

seeing some bambi whacking **** getting a bit of hassle for taking pics of dead animals is something i wanted to comment on. i didnt want to go on Question Time and debate it.....unless they were happy for me to say "blokes a ****, dont care what the police do to him......and while Tesco finest beef sandwhiches are yummy i will still shop there"
luckily this isnt Question Time (depspite what some think)
