big off

Sorry to hear of the off, James. There's a few of in the club who know how "painful" it can be just when you get things as you want them... (it might not be physical pain but definitely be mental anguish.)
"If" you've got a bit of time before the assessor lands "and" you think it may be a write-off, whip all the non-standard stuff off as the insurance co. can be ***** about paying out for your bits. I salvaged what I could from mine over the course of a day and a half of working on it in various carparks. Once I'd had my crunch, I effectively didn't see it again as it was taken by low-loader off the motorway - it's a bit of a shock when things are virtually taken out of your hands
After a fight, I as paid out in approx 6 weeks and moved up to the STi so things can improve if your finances allow it and my insurance premium never went up I've only got a month or two left on the original bugeye loan and then I get a wage "rise"
Andy
PS get one of the even rarer blue ones with gold wheels, every man and his dog has got anthracite wheels now

What the, this is bad news, I thought, the box problems were bad,
I kinda know how you feel,
but at work I think the car had a slow puncture or something, then I could not fix the puncture, so drove it to a local pet station, still no luck, then the wheel nut did not come off, so I drove it again and the thing was shaking like no business, jumped out of car looked and started laughing, the tyre had come off and I was driving on the rim , then the AA came down thought he could do better, snapped a wheel nut, , then once taken home fixed I killed the batt, now doesn't start properly, ,
We shall see how it does when it comes back...
hope you get it sorted...

IVE enough trouble with just the one scoob never mind 2 and as for the £3000 that's what i require to employ the swrt mechanics to keep me on the road for a week. long enough to get my car to the fox glove as its never been
now thats got to be some type of record

Considering your age mate... You were looking at that when you were first quoted until A Plan stepped in.
Are you sure it's going up to that much?
Have you ptrotected no claims?

no had 2 years and now none with a big smash in 2003 (£4000)and a big smash on monday (£5500) with 9 points on my licence
In all honesty im proberbly put the car up for sale when i get it back regroup my finances grow up, buy a house then maybe get back on the ladder at 27 when a sti or similar is more affordable on insurance and as far as the insurance, the guy at markstudy said if they were to renew my policy and there's a big if, it would be £3000 minimum
don't get me wrong by this i love the wyioc. But this has to be the straw that broke the camels back as now since feb Ive had my car on the road 8days with the box issue and now 4 days giving me a grand total of 12days since feb, And how stuff has gone on in 12 days imagine if is had it on the road more and now the optimax went down today 97.9 at my local as apose to 100.9

Everybody sing along
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
And another one gone, and another one gone
Another one bites the dust
Are you ready, Are you ready for this
Are you hanging on the edge of your seat
Out of the doorway the bullets rip
To the sound of the beat
Another one bites the dust
Another one bites the dust
