Of course, manhood is about how powerful your car is and whether you put your foot down.
Let me tell you, Glasshopper - one day, when your testiclés have descended and you have found the love of a good woman, you will find that putting your foot down results in getting your toes stamped on with a stiletto heel.

I live with a girl, have 2 nippers. So if you were to put your foot down with such dramatic consequences why have a car with 360BHP ? Surely a nice little micra would suit you better ? Aren't you completly contradicting yourself ? Or do you need all that power to pull your caravan ?

What about if someone with 360 bhp put his foot down to show how big his testiclés were and one of your nippers happened to be in the firing line. What then, eh?

Well you'd be a complete **** for racing along a road where a child is nearby. Where has this jap fella said that he put anyone else in danger ? Yet you jumped on him!
If its such a bad thing to put your foot down why have you got such a quick car ? on the topic of manhood isn't a common thought that a lot of men buy big cars to compensate for what they haven't got in their trousers ? I'd say someone who openly posts " Yeah my cars 360BHP" obviously has a lot to make up for.
Pmsl try to type a but faster old man, i didn't think you could type as slow as you drive but obviously......
*EDIT* why on earth would my kids be in the middle of a road ?

Remember I have been having some fairly harmless fun here (hence lots of and )
You dont seem capable of understanding this
I do own a fast car, I do drive it fast (when appropriate), I am not old and I really don't need to prove my manhood to you. I have a good working knowledge of what a woman is (being married to one, and having just celebrated the birth of my second child).
I guess that all makes me fairly normal.
Now let not fall out any further, I'm a nice chap really
I just dont like people bragging about potentially lethal road racing, I can't understand how you can argue agianst me on that

Are you under the impression that the public road is a race track, where the tiny-podded members of the driving populace test out their manhood, or do you recognise it for its true purpose - as a public thoroughfare where people travel from A to B with their cargoes of varying preciousness?
I'm sorry to disabuse you of the notion that it's your proving-ground, and that everyone else can get out of the fecking way or die, old ****. Life's hard, truth hurts and all that.

I'm not stressed at all. Understand one thing, your a member of a forum dedicated to a fast car. People buy them to be faster than the Corsa chavs and once in a while you will get someone say they had a race, and your aggressive posts not only on my thread but also on this thread do not help answer the man's original question in any way, shape or form.
Speeding and dangerous driving are 2 totally seperate things. Are you seriously telling me you think the only reason people are killed on public roads is down to people racing ? How about people not looking in their mirrors ? Or peeps going right in the left hand lane on roundabouts (wrote my last car off) or opposite going left in the right hand lane. There are many reasons people are killed and if someone chooses to drive like a **** then thats up to them, if nobody else is in danger then who cares except the law ?

My main point is on an Impreza forum (which i unless i am very much mistaken is a quick car) you will get posts from people asking if what they have is faster/not faster than X/Y/Z. If you don't like a thread move on, answer the mans question or **** off. Nobody asked for either of your opinions, but you gave it all the same.

"Don't race or talk about racing on the public roads".
That about covers it.
And when you post on a public forum, you are inviting comment. That's the nature of the beast.
If you want to test yourself and your car out, go on a race track.

Lol at the speed-typing and thesaurus comments. Some of us have a good command of English, sorry if yours isn't up to scratch.
Also, "life" is going on around here, in between posting.

Full of **** the pair of you. I don't go to nightclubs m8, maybe you should go out once in a while and enjoy youself, you do realise your clock goes higher than 70 don't you ?
"Life" i take it means a night in with a rent boy ?
You also failed to answer whether you use your car on public roads.

94impreza might have a career in editorship. Every time I click on the thread, his posts grow by a paragraph*.
*A paragraph is a series of sentences that explore a single idea or thought. HTH.

My post were not aggressive, just pointed and correct
BTW if people do drive like at ****, as you put it, then it's hard not to put other people in danger, surely you must see the inherent floor in your arguement?
PS I really don't have a problem with people driving fast, I do it, you clearly do it, and I guess 99% of the people on here do it too. Racing however is an entirely different kettle of fish, just accept it for christ sake.

What a load of crap.
Jap asks a question and all he gets is ****e.
Bubba, if a kid was in the way and some tool had to show off his power then it wouldn't matter if it was 360bhp or 60bhp. You get plently of **** in low powered cars crashing and killing people. Assume that the driver has some common sense and wouldn't put his foot down if it was unsafe.
Well my missus loves driving fast and never has a problem with me doing it either so long as I am safe. So you are either with the wrong woman or aren't safe....
None of you know the circumstances of the 'race' jap had so how can you comment? Give him some credit and assume it was safe to overtake.
So what, he had a bit of a race and wanted to brag about it. Maybe he did want some opinions on whether or not it was an RS or an ST. They do look very similar if you aren't an expert. Give him the benefit of the doubt that his skills as a driver allowed him to judge whether it was safe or not. The guy in the focus sounds more of a dick for trying to hold him out.
The holier than thou attitude shown by some members winds me up, it is so hypocritical.
Can you honestly tell me you never speed or have a blast in your car? Any of you?
We all do it from time to time, that is why we buy fast cars. Usually it is safe when we do as most people on here are enthusiasts with years of driving experience and will have fun without putting anyone at risk. You cannot judge others though when you have no idea who they are or how well they drive.
Having cars like these is about enjoying driving and also showing off. Not many will admit to the showing off bit but it is true.
Some people are just not comfortable enough with themselves to admit it. They try to hide it behind weak excuses about how much grip the car has and how much fun it is to drive. Yes scoobs are great cars to drive, but if nobody was bothered about power then why bother getting a turbo car? Buy a sport.
Come on, grow some bollocks and admit you feel smug because of the power you have. If you can't do that then you really are compensating for something.
OK calmed down after writing that.
Still valid points though so I'll post it anyway...

you will find that putting your foot down results in getting your toes stamped on with a stiletto heel

God, when I stopped using this site I thought it was getting bad!
Popped back, and one the first posts in general includes the infamous 'Bubba', who, strangly, is imune to the rules of scoobynet.
He can say all sorts of things such as the 'c' word, and not be warned or anything. Does having a large post count mean that you are above the rules of the forum.
You do realise that this IS a family site, and that kids do log on here??
I urge the moderators to do something about users like bubba.
There are so many other sites where this kind of thing isn't tolerated.
I realise that more users mean more scope to attract more advertisers, but, where will it stop?
If anyone asks me to recommend a scooby forum, all I say now is AVOID SCOOBYNET!
Shame, as it used to be a great site.
