Popped back, and one the first posts in general includes the infamous 'Bubba', who, strangly, is imune to the rules of scoobynet.
He can say all sorts of things such as the 'c' word, and not be warned or anything. Does having a large post count mean that you are above the rules of the forum.
You do realise that this IS a family site, and that kids do log on here??
I urge the moderators to do something about users like bubba.
There are so many other sites where this kind of thing isn't tolerated.
I realise that more users mean more scope to attract more advertisers, but, where will it stop?
If anyone asks me to recommend a scooby forum, all I say now is AVOID SCOOBYNET!
Shame, as it used to be a great site.

I don't see what's infamous about anything I've written in this thread - I happen to feel strongly about some things, racing on public roads is one of them, so why shouldn't I stand up for my point of view?
I wasn't the one who started throwing out insults about rent boys - in fact, I kept a rational head on all through the argument.

Bubba, if a kid was in the way and some tool had to show off his power then it wouldn't matter if it was 360bhp or 60bhp. You get plently of **** in low powered cars crashing and killing people. Assume that the driver has some common sense and wouldn't put his foot down if it was unsafe.
Well my missus loves driving fast and never has a problem with me doing it either so long as I am safe. So you are either with the wrong woman or aren't safe....
None of you know the circumstances of the 'race' jap had so how can you comment? Give him some credit and assume it was safe to overtake.
So what, he had a bit of a race and wanted to brag about it. Maybe he did want some opinions on whether or not it was an RS or an ST. They do look very similar if you aren't an expert. Give him the benefit of the doubt that his skills as a driver allowed him to judge whether it was safe or not. The guy in the focus sounds more of a dick for trying to hold him out.
The holier than thou attitude shown by some members winds me up, it is so hypocritical.
Can you honestly tell me you never speed or have a blast in your car? Any of you?
We all do it from time to time, that is why we buy fast cars. Usually it is safe when we do as most people on here are enthusiasts with years of driving experience and will have fun without putting anyone at risk. You cannot judge others though when you have no idea who they are or how well they drive.
Having cars like these is about enjoying driving and also showing off. Not many will admit to the showing off bit but it is true.
Some people are just not comfortable enough with themselves to admit it. They try to hide it behind weak excuses about how much grip the car has and how much fun it is to drive. Yes scoobs are great cars to drive, but if nobody was bothered about power then why bother getting a turbo car? Buy a sport.
Come on, grow some bollocks and admit you feel smug because of the power you have. If you can't do that then you really are compensating for something.
OK calmed down after writing that.
Still valid points though so I'll post it anyway...

THANK YOU MY FRIEND
I was not racing, I cant tell the difference between Focus variants and I'm first to admit I feel smug driving down the street in a car people eyeball until out of site.
My Scoob is'nt the best, it is'nt the fastest, is'nt the loudest but I love it.
N.B I now know everything I need to know about a Ford Focus, remember that vehicle that tried to stop me from overtaking (a perfectly simple and safe operation) in the initial post.
