Just a thought - the SN thread warning of the SPECS Cameras on the M25 just over the Bridge - that will effect us won't it as we go off to Monkeyworld??
Reading though it, it looks like we will have to take care or some of us could end up with a surprise letter.!!

If it's the usual ESC convoy then we don't need to worry about any speed camera's as we'll be crawling along blocking the traffic at 40 mph
Remember, use the LEFT hand side toll boths at dartford and pull into the layby just after to let everyone re-group............ remember this TINY

Just a point about layby............if u pull in there you'll get 3 bonus points and be £60 lighter in the pocket

Sorry Chris
But this is NOT the ESC Way You tried it once @ Brighton & to be honest it caused confusion Well with me anyway
Cannot beat good rag away from the tolls ( Flamrers on ) , Then a nice steady re group in the slow lane just past the Dartford slip as usual

Really looking forward this
BUT ...
Must admit i'm a little concerned @ our departure time of 8-30am , It must be a good 2 1/2 - 3 hours to get there , If arriving @ 11/ 11-30am , Had a bit of lunch , Half the day has gone ?
Or is there something i dont know ?
Im in no rush to get home as staying local & Heading into Alton on the Sunday morning

ONLY 5 DAYS TO GO!!!!
Do I take it we might need to re-think departure time?
When this trip was first suggested I thought a too early start may put some people off. In the past, we have left Thurrock area at 8:00 and arrived at about 10:15. (MW open 10-5). If the general concensus is for an earlier leave time then we should go for it.
Maybe an earlier start would be better, seeing as we will probably need to stop off half way (Fleet services) for a comfort break.
Being the most local to the meeting point it doesn't affect us as much as most, so 6:00am sounds good to me.
Let's get democratic.....

Apoligies for putting a spanner in the works
But i do remnember the " Dont want to put anyone of with an early start conversation we had " When you started planning this
We must live the furthest from Thurrock ( 30-40min ) But not got a problem getting there early
It's not just me , There have been a few mention to me that the 8-30am departure time may be just a little late , The last thing we want is a rushed drive down there with the feeling we are not going to get round as it closes @ 5pm
I Would suggest that we meet @ 6-45am & Leave @ 7am , This should get us there in good time + Also include a coffee & Choccie muffin stoop @ Fleet services ion the M3
But im easy & will go with the flow & Will be @ Thurrock @ Whatever time gets decided upon

Only joking mate... But I do think a decision needs to be made tonight, so everyone knows and we don't leave anyone behind.
So far, with 2 votes, 8:00am is winning...
BTW.... Separate parking now arranged, well away from any door dingers.
