Undecided on the time thing yet for me, as it might be easier for me to zap round the northern part of the M25 and meet you all at Fleet.

By the time I've gone from Harlow to Thurrock, I can be half way round to the M3 on the northern bit......

I've sent a PM to Dave to see if he wants to go that way as well and will let everyone know before Friday....

Simon is still as TBC, so not sure if he is still going, if he is, then it could be a three car northern convoy!

They are getting better in the mornings, Simon started senior school yesterday, has already been picked for extra sports so now up and ready for school by 7.15, plus they are all really keen on this so 7.30, no problem!

No need to change the departure time just cos i mentioned that i was a little concerned @ the time that we was leaving / Arriving @ MW , I Have been contacted by a few on the list who were also concerned @ the 8-30am time but perhaps they did not want to mention it

But i would personnally leave earlier & Have a steady drive down & More time to look around & Not be rushed thinking " We got to leave soon as we have a 2/3 Hour drive home " ( Staying local sat night so not applicable to us & a few others )

But that's just me ..

& Yes you are correct - you cannot please everyone all of the time !!!

Sorry Tiny, not pee'd off with any individuals, More with myself really.

I too am one for getting on the move early and make the most of the day, which is why, when the quick vote came back in favour of the earlier start, I was happy to change the timings. (in hindsight should have left well alone)
I knew some wouldn't agree but I hoped they were still going to come along.

Anyway, the new timings are to remain, and we bl00dy will have a good day out.

See all of you that are left on Saturday.

P.S. could you text Bigmick and let him know the change.

You can never please everone, all of the time. 7.30 is no problem for me, always up at silly oclock.

Maybe we should have gone for the compromise time of 8.00? I know Andrea would probably prefer that, but then she would probably have preferred 10.00!

Bottom line, We are all really looking forward to this, and will be there at whatever time is set by the organiser.

Bri4n, i have organised a few events, don't lose heart, you allways getted mucked about a bit when organising, but people do appriciate your efforts in the end

Brian, we are sooooooooooo looking forward to this, we don't mind what time we have to set off, and although we are meeting you all at Fleet Services, we are dead excited about the convoy as well as seeing all the monkeys!!

I've organised loads of things over the years outside the Scooby world and realised that peoples lives can change at a moments notice, so there will always be some who just can't make it for one reason or another - don't take it personally if that happens, just let it go over you like water off a ducks back and move onward......

There are still quite a few who are going and we ALL will make sure we have a Bl**dy good day out!!

Remember - this whole day out wouldn't be on the calendar at all if it wasn't for you - so to me you are a top geezer.......!!
