This won't happen much but I actually agree with PS Lewis.
I used to own a metro GTI and had a big exhaust and stickers stuck on the car and thought I looked cool. (I was 19-20)
I'm now over 30 and I look at cars with stickers all over there car and just think Chav!
I laugh at what I thought was cool back then but realise how stupid it looked when I matured!!
p.s. Unfortunately, I just got my STI upgraded and it's now a little nosier than standard but not intrusive. Does that make me a chav???

Oh noes!
Although, I do think it would make you mature quicker!!
All I am saying is it's about time that the Police got tough with the chavs/boy racers that pollute the air with noise!!!
As is said above - you will, when you reach about 25 years old, look back and laugh at what a ***** you were with your loud exhaust, mods and boom boxes!!

This comment has angered me more than anything I've read on here since I signed up.
We all want the police to do a better job, but that doesn't mean we just give up on them. In some (dare I say most) instances they do a really good job in what must near impossible circumstances.
People like you just make it even harder for them.
What kind of world do you want to live in?

The Subaru Impreza is not turing into the cult boy racer car.
Its only for broad minded and super intelects bit like yourself really.
You have a very grown up car.
I bet if you posted a picture of your actual car it would look very subtle almost standard as Subaru intended or hang on a min....nah.....I bet its all stickered up and lowered so much it handles like a wheel barrow buy hey it looks cool and its bound to get you a tug job from a young female...young being the word...probably still at school too.
Unfortunatly people with small minded attitudes like yourself pretty much show their true colours with their mindless drivvle on this BBS.
You clearly have that particular talent licked my friend.
I`m sorry you will never be as great as me and if it bothers you so much you can probably pay to get your name changed to mine at least that would be a start anyway.
Enjoy your sad understated life and dont forget only 4 more days to go until you can wash and polish your pride and joy again...me I`ll be relaxing with my familly whilst my car depreciates and gets covered in the usual ****e untill I book it into have another valet as I cant be arsed to wash it myself.
Oh and keep sponsouring shell and bp cos they need your money more than I do

as i have been going up there(mk cruise) for long time cant understand your real stuck up veiws of it for. You all meet up in your cars dont you? scoob meets are plentlyful, which is a gathering of cars which is the same thing as what mk cruise it. Just a car park where people park up and chat. in around 4 years i have seen 4 or 5 arrests all through fighting. I had my number plate stolen and reported it ovbiosly, was told id be pulled over regularly now so to keep the criume ref number to hand..... in 6 weeks of going there have not been questioned. The noicse factor of an exhaust needs to be tested by the noise db's it makes, to which mk police as they are obv super human do not seem to need! and have arrested people for refusing to sign tickets for this without evidence! they are just tryint to raise thier stats. In all honesty they wuld have just as much luck if they has the mots inspectors randomly checking all cars at random but they are tryint to put of car meets from happening. In having my impreza sport fully inspected the only thing they could find wrong with it was it did not have a 'BS'/ british standard number on the subaru dealership factory plates!!!!! which was my fault becuase i bought privately and was not made aware that this was needed. even though my car was registered in 97, well before the 01 date the law came in.
Fact is they are just victimising another groupe of people like the police like to do as long as they get something out of it! in the motorists case easy money!
