2. [gamers, IRC, crackers] To be dominated, controlled, mastered. For example, if you make a statement completely and utterly false, and someone else corrects it in a way that humiliates or removes you, you are said to “have been owned” by that person.

Following on from the actual thread, whats your view of the two guys released without charge? Obviously they were completely innocent all along? Did the Police make a mistake or is it all part of the global plot where you feel that all Muslims are terrorists and these men are now mistakenly free to bomb again and its all TB's fault??
Why not reply with something completely irrelevant?

Hello James
Thanks for the kind words again...it is a little sad that when one person compliments another on this forum people want to start insulting people...unless it was a joke of course reasonable debate is fine but swearing and insulting gives people the impression that the person is lacking expression and has no decent argument.
Anyway...the issue of the Muslims is a sad state of affairs at the moment and as a practising Muslims I believe it is purely for one reason and one reason only the fact that those same Muslims have left their religion and have become Muslims by name and not nature. We believe as Muslims that success and failure is with our Lord and that is where the key to success lies. My priority in life as a Muslim is not meant to be how I can defeat non Muslims rather how to improve myself as a Muslim and a human being by learning more about my Lord, my Prophet and worship in my religion whether that be making sure I get up for the morning prayer or ensuring that I do not associate partners in worship with my Lord. Working hard at work and being the best Healthcare worker I can, being good to my family, neighbours, work colleagues, general fellow Muslims and non Muslims are all important aspects of my religion. Working at my local community centre and training leave me very little time for anything else most of having hatred towards people for what myself and my fellow Muslims 'hand have earned' due to our shortcomings and sins.
Regards the Muslim world then yes it is in a bad state and I am grateful that I am not put under the same strain that some Muslims are put under on a daily basis at the hands of MUSLIMS and non Muslims if I were in their situation I do not know how I would react but I hope I would not fall into the evil of harming innocents, destroying lives and destroying property. Hypocrisy comes from the Muslims and non Muslims and I believe that Iraq was for oil and a strategic base in the Gulf states so it shows how little some people value life to achieve their goals but again I believe the responsible western states are not lords besides the One and only Lord and Creator of the Heavens and the Earth so it is a punishment due to the sad state of affairs of the Muslims.
As for Muslims being on the dole etc. then it makes my blood boil as much as any other reasonable Muslim I work hard 5 days a week and still devote much time to my community centre and religion so guess how it makes me feel when I look at my tax bill each year and know that some of that is going to my brother in law (who is Gambian by the way) who sits on his lazy backside all day when he could easily work and when it is time to do the Friday sermon (which I have to also do!) he is always saying 'I am too busy!!' I went to an Islamic talk recently which was encouraging us to learn our religion and one of the things the speaker said was 'Save up money go learn your religion...learn the good manners from the scholars if you do not have a job GO AND GET ONE!' I strongly believe that a man should support his partner and family financial and physically and one who does not is not a man.
Anyway regardless of the situation of the Muslims bombing, kidnapping, hijacking, threatening, insulting and harming in any way are all forbidden.
Aaquil.

Just answering some points mentioned I went to work all day, came home spent some time woith my two sons and mother in law, went to the 'tip' with the wife, prepared some of my Friday sermon, watch the footy and wrote on 'Scoobynet' and Oh yes I would have been at the Gym but am feeling a bit tired today so I do 'live life a little.
James thanks and you are welcome.

As said,I have lots of Muslim friends and aquaintances. As people have said, they are absolutely normal in every way,no radical tendancies and yes, very peaceful people.
What I completely fail to understand is why we never have the headline 'Buddhists gone bad'.Another religion with peaceful thoughts and yet it is something they never step outside of.

No doubt the day after we see headlines saying 'Buddhists gone bad' we will see lots of posts on SN about how terrible and murdering supposedly peaceful Buddhists are.
As Humans we come to judgements about other humans, then simply look for the evidence that supports those judgements/assumptions. Anything else is filtered out by the brain and ignored.

Immigrants simply must adopt British values if they want to live here. We hav been too tolerant, and allowed intolerant cultures to flushish here.

What do you think the required percentage is, of people acting in the same way, to be able to tarr a whole group of people with the same brush? Is it 1%, 5%, or 50%.
Please answer that. I have previously put this question to the right wing lunatics on here, but they are incapable of answering a sensible question, of any type.
People waving placards like that are no better than the likes of the NF and are, in my opinion, the same size of insignificant minority as that group, with the same type of extreme views.
No one in their right mind would ever have associated the NF or such with ordinary, British people.

The real danger with the demo was that the police allowed the muslims to demand the death of westerners etc presumably because they feared upsetting them ! It was only after pressure from the Media that any arrests were made. If I see someone saying death to the West - we hate Britain - then as a minimum I want them the **** out of the West - Send them Eastward !
Me - I take everyone as I find them and make the assumption that everyone is a complete dick until they prove otherwise

Herein lies the problem Reality! Them ***** with placards should have been blasted with a very powerful water cannon. It is their aim to cause civil unrest just like the other extremists like Abu Hamza and Nick Griffin. My suggestion would be this anyone wanting to cause trouble should be put on the next plane out of Britain and dropped into the sea! Look at the situation in Iraq anarchy and chaos, someone said and I quote 'the Iraqis needed a person like Saddam to keep them under control'.
