Hope this clears up a few things,

Cheers,

You can't argue with that: there it is in black and white! Each car is different, and not all get to the rollers without problems. It's a critical job and has to be done properly.

No offence but you couldn't have looked very far - got mine done by a well known organisation for £550+vat incl rr time.I would also go as far as to say that at the time I did my research none of the quotes I got were as high as yours.

I only say this because people reading this thread should be aware that you can get it done cheaper - and in my opinion probably just as good.

Added : There also seems to be a big difference between what you said you paid (£650+vat+£150rr) and what the Gaffer has listed (£550+vat+£100rr) - if you were charged the lower price then its not too bad.

Enginetuner.co.uk charge £650 inc vat and rolling road time for the first map...As earlier stated a 3 port soilenoid or boost controller are required to get the best results...
Subsequent mapping is charged at £120 for the first hour (£60 for dyno and £60 for labour) and £60 an hour for every hour required after that..
