So you do know how to reply try the phone next rather than wasting peoples time having to repeatedly phone you
Not a case of throwing toys out of pram I just replied to a post informing of my dealings with you / company you work for if you read my first post
The another relative question . I was wondering about the difference in service

In fairness to you, your original post was simply stating the facts of what had happened to you (and I think you were unlucky as my experience with KM was totally different), it was the following post that agreed with you and made a rash statement without backing it up that is offensive to Gary.

Suggesting that people who post positive feedback are my 'relatives' pisses me off, hence my reply to you.

I try to ring everyone back. However, sometimes i do miss people out it seems. If you have left a message and i haven't got back to you i do apologise, but i am trying my hardest.

Reading between the lines on this topic, the people who manage to speak to yourself seem to be happy generally. Unfortunately, it appears that if you are not available at the time a customer rings, your colleagues are either unwilling or incapable of answering questions or taking details down for a quotation. I believe that this is unfair to both yourself and to the potential or existing customer. Having worked in a similar enviroment I can appreciate the amount of **** that is thrown at you on a day to day basis. From an outsider looking in it appears that without yourself KM struggles on Subaru insurance. Surely this is an issue that needs to be taken on-board by KM. They seem to be doing a reasonable job as things are but surely any constructive negative feedback needs to be taken on board to make the service better.
I do prefer to speak to the same person on important things such as insurance rather than speaking to call centres, but sometimes this is impossible if calls etc. are not returned. Other peoples times can be on a premium as well and they may not be able to ring several times in a day in the hope of catching you in.
Sort the staff out please

My two cents

When I first phoned KM, Gary slashed £400 quid off the best quote I'd got! He didn't know me from Adam!

Since then I've received nothing but excellent customer service from him; he owns a Scooby himself so doesn't give you a load of old BS when you indicate you wish to modify your car. He's always friendly; it's a pleasure to talk to him and I usually end up keeping him on the line for 25 mins chatting about our cars!! I've still not met him in person, and as far as I know, he's not my long lost 2nd cousin but I still get great service!

Gary has said several times on here, when you phone KM you MUST speak to him directly for the best deals and it's best not to leave a message as there have been several instances where they've not been passed on. It's not in Gary's interests to ignore potential customers, so I'd say the chances are if he doesn't get back to you, there has probably been a breakdown in communication somewhere. He is only one person in a much larger company.

Quite why these kind of threads have to degererate into personal insults is beyond me.

Firstly, i am not related to Gary Moulson but he does insure my car for me.

Like others I have had Gary's collegues say he will call me back and he hasnt but when I have spoken to him directly he has always been spot on.

If he hasnt called me back (as promised by someone else at KM) within a reasonable time then I call him or PM him or e-mail him.

The pros are I speak to Gary and deal with him personally and not a different idiot in india every time I called Norwich Union.

I would say there is little between Gary & A Plan on price depending on your circumstances so you pay your money and take your choice.

For everyone who has has a frustrating time trying to get hold of Gary I am sure there are more people who have had a good service and quote.
