Bon Jovi - St marys stadium

I went on sunday and thaught they were a bit tired, old and lacking in energy.
Big lighting rig but they looked like a bunch of grumpy old men going through the motions. I left 20 minutes early as I was bored. Not a bad day though as I got free VIP backstage passes and free tickets from some guy I met in a bar.

Did anyone go to the Hull gig

Still no clear indication of what is going on in Bon Jovi land, but if recent reports are accurate - especially the absolutely horrid reviews coming in from the band's final European show at Hull in the UK - it seems there is definite tension within the band, most likely between frontman Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora. All the reviews of the Hull show say frontman JBJ could not hide his foul mood on stage and barely acknowledged Richie all night.
I learnt overnight that negotiations with the band to bring them to Moncton, New Brunswick in Canada were well underway before also being abruptly terminated. The band have a handful of North American dates left, culminating in one final show at Giants Stadium, NJ, July 29.
Stay tuned...

I saw Bon Jovi a couple of weeks back at Milton Keynes. When I found out the venue had been changed from London to MK I was initially a bit worried about how it would turn out but have to say it was fantastic.
Probably helped that it was the hottest day of the year, got there early and sat on the banks at the MK bowl, drank beer and got a sun tan
Even though we sat miles back on the bank the sound was pretty impressive. I can't claim to be a devoted Bon Jovi fan and know all the songs but there was a definate energy when they knocked out old ones like its my life, living on a prayer, and bad medicine.
Managed to get some ok-ish photos from where we were sitting too despite being a bit fuzzy around the edges due to the zoom...
