Been for a mapping sesion today chaps and the improvement is huge,
example if the ambient temp was 18 deg we would be seeing over 40+ deg at the maf,
since fitting the ram port today the ambient was 23 deg and we were seeing 24 at the maf..... Thats a drop of over 16 DEG!!!
The results speak for themselves, even on a scortching day im able to run full boost at much lower temps. Due to this we were able to add more boost in the middle and still hold good temps. Shaved another few tenths of a second off the in gear times and the extra grunt is very noticeable

been considering this after chatting to zak
I am not sure I can run more boost though - is there any benefit of doing this other than allowing you to map for these lower intake temps?
The other option for me is to use the standard wrx front fog surrounds on the 06 to form funnels for brake cooling.... might be more worthwhile.
