I'm sorry, I don't know anything about cars. I'm just filling in while pslewis is having his enema. Good brakes is always a good modification, but I couldn't advise on specific products.

I've mostly got a big postcount because I had a really crap job with internet access for two of those years.

Bubba,

Guys who brag about a big "postcount" usually have something small to hide !!

Everything. The reflection of the Walnut tree above is flattering to it.

Errrm - put the polish on and rub it off I guess !!

Use Autoglym. Dear but good and lasts quite well.

What about the ones in the 12's and 11's? I'm not asking you to like them, they are a pretty **** car but value for money wise they are hard to beat if you like the RWYB days.

What times do you run?

Along the lines of max power hot hatches, I was followed by a Saxo VTR (I think) thru Stafford yesterday, had the mrs and dog in the car so was being nice and gentle, and this thing that looked like it had been driven thru the window of Halfrauds came up behind me.
Anyway when I pulled off he tried to follow and his o/s/f wheel came off!!!
Next time I drove past the coppers were giving him a right boll0ckin and his car was being dragged onto a recovery truck, all the bumper scraping on the floor!!!

My personal view is why cosmetically modify a car like that if you can't even be sure its all safe underneath, at the end of the day a 1.2 Saxo is still a 1.2 saxo whatever you do to the outside of it. Scoobs are actually top cars straight out of the box IMHO, we don't need to stick all this tacky crap on the outside to make it quick, thats why we seem to bait the kids with chav crap stuck all over their car.

Despite having a Scoob I know they are far from invincible and in std Uk form quick but not mega.

I know several owners in my Daihatsu Charade GTti club who get a great deal of pleasure in blowing away much bigger expensive cars in a sub 1 litre jap crap box. Its a kind of anti status symbol thing showing how quick a good car can be vs an expensive one.

Bit different to the Max Power crew who can barely drive and can often be a danger to themselves and other road users.

i think there is a whole lot of car snobs here at the moment!!!!
if the kid racers want to style up a small cheap car thats easy for their no years driving experience and no years no claims i say let em, the more enthusiastic car nuts that there are out there the better, think about it...when you want to sell your old beat up wrx import with its dodgy turbo and all that blue smoke under hard acceleration........whos going to buy it? one of us?no it will probably be one of those little kid racers who are looking for their second chariot and have been saving all there burberry cap fund up for "one o them rice rocket thingys" the more the better!
