£150 for a return ferry ticket to the Isle of Man. tent, sleeping bag, cooker and bottles of NF in the boot, sorted.

Btw my P1 didn't blow up despite being taken off the clock on several occasions, but then it was serviced regularly and decent oil put in, fresh MAF sensor and a bit of NF octane booster for safety. Most importantly I never held it wide upen for long periods, blat up to 160mph for a few seconds then let it coast back down to 80mph again for a few miles to cool the oil off.

Highly amusing to see a copper wind the window down and wave you past at 120mph on the mountain section.

Just think out of all the members of Snet only you are in the right, perhaps we should all take ourselves off to the your little school of Captain sensible and learn how to not be of any offense to any one else on the planet.

That way we could give up our identities, renounce our nationality and allow the rest of Europe to rule our country without question, if fact lets just roll over and let everyone else come and live here for free off our taxes that we pay every year (or else)
We can stop being patriotic in our own country as well, just in case we offend the monority, god forbid we put a Union Jack out side our house to proclaim support for our national football team in the biggest tournament in 4 years, even worse lets not hope they win and we celebrate, just in case it upsets those who loose and makes them feel inferior.

Alternatively, we could be who we want to be and make our own decisions, think what we want, say what we want, drive where we want and how we want, and yes if it's against the law then so be it, but i think we are all big enough to understand that if we get caught doing wrong (and we know if we are or not) then you have to be prepared to pay the price,
Thats not idiocy, it's not even foolish, it's living the life you want and being bold enough to take the rough with the smooth without complaint.

Life is short. Dont regret it at the end, it's too late then.

Pretty little speech, but living in a society is about having responsibilities, not about having rights. Who pays when you have a blowout at 160 mph? Just you, or someone travelling on the opposite carriageway?

Bubba Do you not see that my speed was acheived on a PRIVATE RUNWAY.
I originally posted this hoping to wind the sn ***** up but they must have been off in another thread spouting their crap.

This photo was taken by an off duty cop who is just as much a speed freak as I am, and even he agreed that under certian circumstances a 100+ blast on a motorway ,off record is perfectly acceptable with todays cars and technology

Is that a specially adapted scoob, as you only have one leg , how do you work the pedals.

Quite correct, it is also about responsibilititties, i am responsible for my own actions and a whole lot more as a matter of fact, i however do not need to dwell on them on a daily basis and don't worry about not forefilling them, i know i will as i know i do in the same way as i always do.
There are people who take precautions in all things in life and are generally called boring, there are those who engage life to the full and are called irresponsible, i disagree with both statements, there's nothing wrong with being carefull in the same vein as there is nothing wrong with being adventureous.
A blowout at 160 is not guaranteed, but yes it might happen, cest la vie!
you know the risks, but so does the bloke on the other side of the Autobahn.

I'd like to say words fail me, but I still have plenty to go at as my ire rises further.

The feds read this site.

I'm not being high and mighty, I want people to justify why they think it's ok to do 160 mph on a public road, and take pictures while they do it.

If something's dangerous at 70mph, how much more dangerous do you think it is at more than twice that speed? Twice as dangerous, or many times as?

Well i, personally, WAS on about the autobahn as that's where i drive legaly at the speeds i do, and trust me when i say that the av speed on some of the roads over here are easily easily 100mph + on the unrestricted sections.

However, i am inclined to agree with you about the photo being taken (if it was taken by the driver) not very clever that!
