Cheers Stormy, It would suit your Spec C if you fancy taking part at future rounds.

Rob, See you Friday night for the party Curtis should also make it up during Friday. He's testing Subaru's at Spa tomorrow before a nice little drive back and up to Knockhill lol

Good effort everyone, especially the peeps running their normal day to day cars,

How upgraded do the cars have to be to enter this?

Do they take each car on individual merit (in the club class)?

The beauty of club challenge is that if you feel you can represent your club well with your car, bog standard or modified then register your interest..

Its the fun of taking part and pushing the club/owners marque forward.

Thats cool

I just got the impression from the main time attack site that all they're interested in was 'open cheque book' cars.

I know Neils is a day to day runner, but even some of the other club cars. look properly sorted, witha lot of money spent on them which most of us can't afford

I May need a few handling upgrades then

I didn't really want to alter my car from standard, not made of money either
Was thinking of the exhaust and new ecu mapped to knock power up a bit (reliably), but gonna get handling sorted first, brakes seemed fine at castle coombe, and if the car handles better, less braking too. Just found a guy in my area that specialises in evo's and scoobs to, not much in tuning companies around the GY area

an anti roll bar here and there will help, maybe a set of springs....but your right a remap will helpa fair bit too....could make it a nice competitor for about a grand.

I'm pretty sure i need a new ecu cos mine can't be mapped so that will cost a fair bit, exhaust from turbo back another lump, then the mapping too, different ecu's to choose from, and exhausts think i'll revert back to a recirc DV too but perhaps an uprated one

a power FC supplied and fitted for about 750, second hand exhaust no more than 150, then a set of springs/ anti roll bars for 150 odd....

job done
