You have to bear in mind that the rest of the Smacs are old farts - the last time we had boom boom boom coming out of our cars it was met by roars of laughter from the local pub.
I mean who listens to Kajigoogoo, Nik Kershaw and Paul Young nowadays.
Unless your CW42 - whos fav is good ole Cliff Richard.
Not a cruise in a car park young fella just a get together of like minded enthusiasts we leave the burnouts at home

If I wanted to cruise I would have bought a corsa or saxo
and burnouts, my tires are too expensive to waste on stupid stuff like that
There saved for track days and so is my fuel and engine
Ive wanted a scoob for 8 years and now I finally have one! Dream come true
Id appreciatre it if someone would have a look at it and tell me what mods are done and basic maintainence if you have 5-10mins?!

It depends on how deep your pockets are
mine was totally standard - now running 270-280ish on the standard TD04 turbo - this is the max you can get if you run this turbo but it spools up quicker and makes for a really quick point to point car plus with it being a Classic its a lot lighter than new age so you will find yourself keeping up with STI PPP's - at least on a twisty road.
I kept with a e46 M3 recently on acceleration - not big or clever but amazing how quick a lightly modded classic are.
i'll be happy to discuss mods with you tommorrow.
I looked at your posts on SIDC so we knew you were not a Chav so no worries mate
we try and keep the club away from teh Max Power style cruises that gather at the local McDonalds.

They even had a little drag strip round the corner at the John Lewis warehouse with a startline spray-painted on the tarmac. I don't think it takes place anymore. Would be nice to go back and toast some little scrat in his Nova/Saxo/Fester. (Oh btw, I never have/ never will take part in any illegal street racing!)
Can you imagine the looks we'd get if the SMACS turned up in numbers one night?!?!
