Subaru Legacy :P The "classic" Legacy Turbo and Legacy RS are nicely quick, easy to modify but you never see one with neons being driven around McDs carpark by some ****. I've never seen a chavved up Forester either thinking about it.

And to those who are saying that the image is not important, unfortunately it is. At least it is if you drive the car regularly, it's a lot easier to get out of junctions and perform lane changes when you haven't got all the other cars on the road actively trying to block you because they think you're a ****.

i would have got rid of my classic if i could get anything half decent to rplace it with for the cash, there is nothing out there

i am planning to have it repainted and keep it for another few years, TBH i think in 5 years time, a clean classic will be something that people want

Yes, but your driving pleasure is affected by the additude others on the road take to you, hence an old 3-series is not a good choice.

I agree otherwise, f**k what the people on the bus think.

Im 22, and own a classic, but that doesnt mean i thrash my car around town centres or blast hard house out. My car is a little scruffy as to be honest i bought it fairly cheap and would rather spend money on it mechanically than externally. This is my daily driver, and a great one at that, i do wave to other scooby drivers but am getting a little annoyed that due to my car being a little rough around the edges externally (but i must say is completely standard externally) i tend not to get waves back, just a disapproving look! However recently i was driving on of my stock (i import cars) an '02 st ra spec c i got many a wave.. why is this? Does the classic when driven by a young driver instantly get labelled 'chav' ??
