Twice I've had a problem on eBay after paying with Paypal - both times I got a refund.

Just keep your emails to the guy factual and polite (I know it's hard!) and I'm sure you will have no probs.

Sorry, not entirely true.....

If the claim goes in your favour (as it should), then they will close his ebay account down, and remove/refund your money from his Paypal account.

However, if his account has insufficient funds, then you will not get your money, unless the auction listing advertised Paypal Protection. They will not take money from a registered card.

Not good I know, and I have first hand experience of this...!

Take it you left the positive feedback before you wired it up ?

If the up button does not work, then they *might* have not known when they sold it, BUT if they are refusing a refund then ?, now thats crap. Just shows, only leave feedback once you know it works.
