davegtt is right in saying the whole organised thing is much less of a problem than it was in the 80's
What saddens me is that as (hopefully) England progress further in the compeition, so will the level of violence from our 'supporters' rise. It'll never change for each generation of footie fans there will always be those who get involved in "poor policing" or caught up in something that "wasn't there fault"

Of the 4,000 arrests this far only 400 have been English. That's "only" 10%, but from the coverage you'd thing the English were the only ones causing trouble.
I live in Holland and the only local coverage about crowd trouble concerned English yobs. History always remembers the trouble makers it seems. Ask the *****.. er.. I mean Germans
