Would i be correct in saying those under estimating the worth of Kenshiro's car are largely owners of more recent scoobs ?

Because you do nothing but slag other users off.
Similar to the behaviour of a jealous tw%t who doesn't actually own an impreza.

You'll always get talked down, its part of selling making them think they took £300 or so from you. Thats why £3k - £3.5k would be about right, and sale price would probably end up nearer the £3k mark.

Get used to it m8, 50% of scoobynet users wait online for someone to slip up. Generally you get a lot of good help, but once one **** starts posting useless information its followed by cretins without the brains to form an opinion so just type utter bollocks.
don't let them drive you away, there's a lot of good peeps on this board as well.

I was only joking...... no need to spit your big mac out I hope the car makes a gazzillion pounds... but it's a stickered up (strangely painted manifold) import... which may be hard to shift?

Same as every car.
Its only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

Spend a full day cleaning, polishing, checking all fluids, pressures etc. Will make a world of difference. As long as there are no nasty knocks or scatches on the exterior, and no funny noises coming from the drivetrain, I see no reason why it shouldn't fetch £3500.

Isn't this a 'public' forum?

The car looks in good condition, so should get a decent price.

Agreed with taking off the stickers, as it will make it easier to sell. The stickers do look good, but potential buyers might be put off.

Ignore what people say here, the car IS worth £3500.

I speak to people all day who have just bought/are buying these same cars, and £3500 certaily sounds fair. Could even put it up for £3995 and let them knock you down.

Hope this helps

Gary

(careful not to damage the paintwork if you remove the stickers!!!)

no please, the rest of us are also interested in what parts of your car you think are alloy and what makes your car "lightweight".

theres been talk of alloy panels but no one has tested/come up trumps yet.

maybe you can
