Just got my 53 plate sti mapped today. Standard TMIC but upgraded the uppipe; downpipe and exhaust system and went with Harveys ported and wrapped headers. Turbo choice was TD05 18G from Andy. Decided against the 20G in the end as it is strictly a road car and andy felt the 18 was the better performer.

If I wanted anymore (guesstimating 380-390 at the mo) fmic would be required.

As Neilo says mate do you really need to spend more money to get that extra 15bhp which you will be hard pushed to feel.

If you just put a big turbo on it wont be performing well because your other modifications arent good enough for the turbo.
is that your car your describing there neil

im affraid hes right and with all the heat in israel the tmic must be well working overtime, before you consider turbo changes ?? why dont you just add a fmic and fit smaller injectors then you can see if the car is getting anywhere near what your after !!

Well to be MOST EFFECTIVE you'll need to change your INTERCOOLER!
But you don't want to do that, so it won't be that effective.

the TD05-18g is only good for 380bhp MAX.....your current turbo is producing more than this....why change?

you cant have more withouth changing other parts so i suggest you give up.
