The vast majority were helpful and welcoming.
I presume with even reading it that the rude comment about the import was from none other that PS Lewis. He is a simpleton and a troll. He is not unique to Snet - all BBSs have a resident PS Lewis and indeed on most BBSs it is PS Lewis.
Fear not - I have had two imports and my first was a Classic STi that held its value far better than a UK car, and my second is a MY06 Spec C, also a car that holds it value well.
However I still fail to read in that thread what you claimed was a sleight on you being a newbie or a woman. If anything being a woman seemed to create a degree of positive discrimination. Especially as you are young and have a Scooby of your own!
