Would love to get together with someone who nows how to set them up right so I could use it more.

Fozz,

Looks like a CEN , one of the 'it's 95% built' jobbies , I had one ..... Sold it now, as I didn't ever use it.

Pre-Assembled 1/8th Scale 4WD Nitro Powered Truck With 21BB Engine (3.5cc, Composite Carburetor), Radio Set, Two Speed, Blue Anodized Chassis, Ball Bearings, Chrome 6 Spoke Wheels.

Savage 3.5 "Classic" - best value for money

The huge success of the Savage began with the release of the ground-breaking Savage 21 in September 2002
The new updated Savage 3.5 RTR is based on the classic Savage 21 that has proven its power, performance, durability and strength since it's first release.
The new Savage 3.5 RTR has been updated with all the latest Savage improvements to make it even stronger

The HPI Nitro Star 3.5 engine is now equipped with 2-needle composite carburettor. This redesigned engine, with two needles instead of three, makes it much easier for beginners to set up and tune. The new composite material makes the engine run smoother at all temperatures.

The Savage 3.5 RtR is ready to run, equipped with a high quality 3-channel radio (prepared for reverse module). Only a few steps are required to start the car for the first time. The enclosed HPI RC-Car DVD is the perfect introduction to Nitro powered RC-Cars for all beginners.

Nice kit chaps, looks like i wont be running my car as you all seem to have off road kit and i dont expect you to run at a circuit for me.

I might come and watch though and dont mind helping people with their setups

Also you will all need at least 2 sets of crystals whether your on 27mHz or 40mHz.

This is to avoid unwanted tearaways

How about Sunday 6th August? Day after the posers cruise.

Could use this as a first opportunity for a get together to check out each others weapons (oo-er ) and a friendly blat about. Doesn't need to be a track as such, just anywhere with a wide open space, the flatter the better as we have some on-road vehicles going to turn up which won't handle the off-road stuff that the monster trucks will.

Anyone got any ideas for a venue?

anything but a field as my car doesnt run very well on grass unless its short like on the golf course.

Personally i think a carpark would be a good idea as the touring cars can run then.
also good for a drag race comp

Ok so we are looking for a large carpark that will be empty on a Sunday that we can get easy access too without hassle from security guards or similar.

Is the date ok?
