Thumbs up

For what it's worth Bell & Colvill near Guildford have a demonstator PPP'd WRX with 5k on the clock. I'm having a go in it this weekend.

Cheers

I have to say my best mod by far (excl PPP) has been the eibach springs

I actual felt the difference straight away
(Thanks TSL Motorsport)

Brakes were done first cause they were needed

The only difference between the Wagon and Saloon is the noise.

Some say that the Prodrive exhaust is quieter on the Saloon, shame that because the noise levels in my Wagon are spot on. I now drive using the note as a guide.

Leaving a 30mph zone for a 60 in 3rd gear is fantastic, masses of lag then this un-ending poweband. Changing to 4th makes not much difference to the pull, after 4th you're well over 100mph and should slow down anyhow

I've never tried this myself of course, a little bird told me.

Question

Phil, What brake upgrade did you go for? I was looking at using TSL group N discs and pad upgrade.
Cheers,
Mark.

Mr President, why are you still none the wiser?

Its an excellent upgrade and I agree with all of the positive comments made so far. You will not regret it. The car feels so much more responsive and powerful. Every gear seems to inherit the power of the gear below...and more besides.

You're all tip-toe-ing about here? What's going on?

I guess I have kept schtum myself on MY01...

Hendrys gave me an import WRX STi for a couple of hours to check out. My STiV is coming up for three yrs old, but any idea I had of changing it has now disapeared. There's not doubt the new one's a great car compared to most others out there, but it's not a chip off the old block, or for me - it felt rather asthmatic compared to a downpiped STi V...

Anyone stuck a downpipe & exhaust system on one? (STi are losing the plot here maybe? After all, the downpipe on my 'hot' STi model had a huge big ugly big blanking plate on it, facing the wastegate exit??)

I have a MY99 with PPP , but if you change the downpipe
you feel the power
Aprox dyno 270 hp....
Great!!!
In my country no problems with exhaust emission
I fit a full exhaust Group "N" with no cats...
PPP + downpipe without cats is really amazing !
