So is Hammerite the best paint for the job or have some of you used something else?

Hammerite last a couple of years, is cheaper (£5 a tin) and comes in a wider range of colors,

The proper caliper paint last longer, is tougher wearing, cost around £20 but your limited to colours.

I've used black and gold simply because thats the colour's I painted railings outside of my old house and had the paint left over. I painted my old 4 pots the same and that lasted a year with no problems

I can confirm in daylight it is NOT a match for the brembo gold. The hammerite looks a slightly greener gold instead of a yellow gold on the brembo's
