Thumbs up

mp2002,

You need to go from a deck to a mixer. You need the mixer to boost the levels enough to plug into the soundcard on your PC. If you don't use a mixer you won't get full range (you'll loose some bass). You can use the Windows sound recorder to record the tracks as .wav files then burn them to CD. You don't even need an amp cos you'll hear it as it's recording through the PC speakers. remember to set the Windows volume setting to record at sound card input only.

I would recommend using Steinberg's Wavelab instead of Windows sound recorder though. I can get you a free copy if you want.

Sounds like my kind of music, I used to go to school with Zero B (pete), hated the music at the time, but now it just makes me laugh

Absolutely total respect for the guy that did Zero B- Lock up - that choon featured at a new years eve 2000 at a private party in Southampton - oh my god, you've not seen som mant 20 somethings go so crazy. It has got to be nearly perfect bar the shaky production.

Read the other rave thread as well, seems there are loads of old cheesy quavers on the board. I be the guys that listened to all indy or metal are driving volvos now ;-)
