I'm paying arounbd 800.00 for import STi MY96 with Elephant. Am 28, male, married, 3 years no claims. No garage or tracker. No mods (that I'm aware of!)

Elephant were the best by far, next best was Direct Line who offered me 1200.00 and only if it had tracker fitted.

£500 for a UK WRX with a few mods with Admiral. Just a quick note, Admiral, Bell and Elephant are the same company/underwriters but offer different quotes . Ring round and I'm sure you'll get a better quote.

Sorted my insurance out this morning so here is a big thanks to Ann at APlan
£495, protected, hire car, legal etc etc.
Much better than Admirals 720 renewal fee

That's pretty impressive, I'd say. As I'm a fellow IB resident, am also with A-plan and have the same car as you, with aftermarket exhaust declared and mine was £700 in March (I'm 28).

MY 03 STI - no mods
Age 36, male, married with two kids, 11y ncb.
Car garaged.
£720 with Admiral

All other big companies quoting around £500.

I have been with Admiral for seven years or so and am a little pi**ed of with them

Interesting to know what others with similar details are paying for their cars.
Nik.
You're getting ripped off mate. I'm 33, single, 9 points, highly modded WRX, garaged and paying 900 with A Plan.

Depends on the area....i was quoted £500 less in Kent....though now live in East London...

However i called Aplan today and they wanted an additional £140 if i were to get the TSL 333 conversion done..which i did not think was too bad

I went with the Subaru Insured. (the insurance from the dealer) (I have Zero no claims bonus).

I found this to be £500 cheaper than MCE car insurance.

There is a good place in Luton -- although i cant quite remember the name

I believe thats keith micheals that use marker study, i cant remember but i do recall that name being thrown around when getting quotes.

You need to get a better quote, mine lives on the street and im 6yrs younger than you.
Do you have points or claims?

Mine's insured through Marker Study via A-Plan. It took several phone calls and some weeks before I got my certificate through, but apart from that I've been very happy with it.
