its harder than you think though....what were your terminal speeds when you did 13.5? that will give youa better indication of if your going wrong somewhere..

Just as a comparison for Martin,

off the top of my head my 12.6 run had a terminal of 111.5mph with an ET of 1.7 seconds. One of my earlier runs was a bit of an odd one, 13.2 with a terminal of 119mph

Incidentally, I rip out the seats/spare wheel etc etc to give me as much assistance as possible and only have at the v most 1/4 tank of race fuel in.

3.7s 0-60mph was really quite poor - knackered tyres and 1st outing with new ratios - 1/4s came up at 12.3s on that day.

Would like to get it timed again. Still enough to win the event though (GP Tuner RWYB)

According to the calc using 1/4mile times not power to weight (drag surface):

0-60mph should be about 3.1secs
0-100mph should be about 8.2secs

(340bhp)

LOL Definately not with me behind behind the wheel - no way would I be that brutal with the car!! What it does mean though is that I should be able to achieve around 5 seconds to 60 (maybe even duck below 5) without being too cruel which is much more "real world" relevant I guess.

a little....but you shoudl be crossing the line at about 110....or 112 to get comfortably in the 12s...(as in 12.5 say) so on a hot day id expect to see you at 106-108....

My last run i crossed the line doing 108 (335bhp car) in about 27degrees which isnt much different....witha buggered gearchange.

Thats really useful thanks. I think I should short shift probably 1,2,4,6 to take advantage of all the low down power 360bhp at 5500rpm and 500Nm at 3500rpm - what do you reckon?

Neilo,

So pretty much what mine was then 12.6 @ 111.5 is about right then

Any thoughts on how one run could be so slow 13.2 but have terminal of 119?

I reckon it means

321 x 0.9 = 289.

=> 1270 / 289 = 4.39.
