I cannot condate Isreals actions I undertsand they feel the need to use force but its out of all proportion and then they are surprised they get retaliation which just leads to a huge escalation.

I think pressuring Syria is disgusting and hypocritical, face the facts both sides should be under equal pressure to stop and the UN should pulls its finger out and actually do something constructive rather than the normal sweet FA it does.

Yes there are some radicals on both sides but as we've seen with the IRA dialogue often gets more results than guns.

I think Isreal needs to back off and stop acting like a tyrant. At times like this is worth reflecting on the wisdom of star wars....

VERY disturbing images. But that is war. And that is propoganda. War is despicable, from whatever side. I'm sure Israel could come up with an equally ghastly set of images, but I'm not going to seek them out.

I sense that international pressure is mounting against Israel. I hope so. Enough is enough.

But let's remember who started this conflict - Hezbollah (the Party of God) that has a strong foothold in the Lebanese government. They started kidnapping and bombing in the full knowledge of Israel's response.

Hezbollah also knows that if they stop raining down an endless stream of rockets into Israel, killing and maiming indescriminately, and lay down their arms, the destruction of Lebanon and innocent civilians will stop immediately.

So who's at fault now? Might as well toss a coin
