No disrespect to RCMS and Team Ice, but they have yet to manage those sort of times without considerable assistance from nitrous. There is more to come I can assure you, 9.6x without nitrous should be acheivable, and my aim is to get under 9.5, which is fast enough for a circuit car. It is only the second time it's been on the drag strip since november last year, when it was taken off the road to be rebuilt as it is now.
Also worth pointing out that I did it on the same wheels, tyres and brakes that I used at Knockhill 2 weeks previous in the Time Attack. No 15" wheels with drag tyres over small brakes for me, the drag strip isn't that important for now. If I was so worried about outright drag performance I would build a drag car that was actually fast.
I would stick to racing armchairs if I were you.

Thanks Steven
Take it your car isnt ready then?
By the way, I never got round to getting that 20g fitted
@ wrc350
I think you'd be suprised how many people on here actually do use their cars instead of armchairs

No probs
My car was ready, as reserve, until very recently when i broke a gearbox for the 3rd time. I have been concentrating on getting Mark's car ready for the team, as i can only drive one car
I saw you sold the 20g on.
Paul, cracking the 9's has merely underlined the potential strength of the team. Well done Paul.

Yeah, I was selling the car, hence why I sold all the parts... but changed my mind again
Anyway, Im aiming a little bigger this time, poss a TD06 with 49lb comp wheel, so I've lots of work ahead before I can get one bolted on, aiming to have it finished for early next year.
Yes I'd heard about your gearbox troubles, didnt you get a Modena box off Stuart?
(Sorry Paul for the slight hi-jack)
Team Subaru - looks v promising this year for showing up the Skyline/Lancer lot
