Good call Bubba, Geno by Dexy's .. a proper crowd pleaser.. any Madness track usually gets the floor up too..even a Bob Marley track can be worked to suit.. Reggae is always a good thing to get the place dancing.think theres far too many pub bands doing the Grenday/Stereophonics/Kaisercheifs thing now its a bit passe'....

Many years ago I was involved with a mobile disco. I asked the experienced guys how they decided which records to play and was told, "Look at the audience. Make a good duess at their average age and play what they listened to when they were between 16 and 21."
On that basis and your estimate of the likely audience age, you're looking at anything from early eighties onwards. I guess the biggest guitar based band around then were the Jam.
As others have suggested, good songs from earlier would go down well. Classic sixties stuff should go down well, too. Combine sixties and Jam and do "David Watts"!
"Summer of '69" (Bryan Adams) can go down well and give the band a chance to enjoy themselves.
