1. Chelsea (90 pts) - just too much talent bought I'm afraid. They have a second team of internationals happy to sit back and take the money.
2. Arsenal (85 pts) - will be a lot better than last year, maturing side, best player in the world has stayed.
3. Liverpool (84 pts) - strong again, just not good enough to win it
4. Man Utd (75 pts) - I see them off the pace this year. The slow decline over the past 3 years continues. Losing RVN without replacing is a major setback.
Again, no change in the top 4 choice, just the order.
Champs League - Bayern Munich
FA Cup - top 4 team
Mickey Mouse cup - who cares..

One of these teams is in a slow decline. The other is Man Utd.

4) Man Utd - Still linked with some quality players, finished strongly last season, all depends on how they start the season, but 2nd or 3rd could be on the cards.
British Team for CL
FA Cup too early to call, always throws up some surprises.
Just my 2p's worth.....

Man Utd's results have slowly improved over the last 3 seasons, while Arsenal's have steadily got worse.

Carrick will be able to get the ball up to Rooney - but now Ronaldo has shown the rest of the Prem how to get Utd down to 10 mean for most of the match

Anyway, either way, this season is going to be another bore with the same results roughly. I'm interested to see how Watford do, because they do have a class manager.

My only point was that looking at the Premiership table (and ONLY the Premiership table), there is more evidence to suggest that Arsenal are in a slow decline than Man Utd.

My post was demonstrating that there was more evidence of a "slow decline" in Arsenals last 3 seasons than in Man Utds, which have actually slowly improved. The evidence for this is in the data I posted.
I'm not denying that Man Utds last 3 seasons have been disappointing - they have - but last season's Premiership campaign was definately an improvement over the previous 2. I don't think you'll find many Arsenal fans thinking the same way.

No but Arsenal was able to counter the 4th position with a Champions League Final.... So your point doesnt really do anything does it?

I'm posting FACT as opposed to OPPINION. Just because in your opinion you would rather support Arsenal than Man Utd does not mean that the facts are not relevant.

No, your completely missing the point. Im not saying United are in a slow decline. Im not saying theyre improving. Im disputing Arsenal have declined. My post #46 is in reply to your post #45 saying Arsenal are in a slow decline... In fact they had a poor start to last season and stepped it up half way through (remember how far down the table they was mid season? Yet they finished pretty strongly pipping Tottenham to the CL spot and managing to get to the CL final, so Im
