Jay, what I meant was can you adjust the temperature swich point for the cold enrichment to turn off on an Apexi, and do you need the software or can it be done via the commander.

cheers

there is a setting on the commander will have a look later when back in the car, if i remember correctly there are about 4 or 5 temp ranges where you can adjust the fuel enrichment in these ranges so say if the car is below 40c then 20% more fuel could be added/removed

Question

Just need to confirm the fitting - heard its easy though. Is it the bottom rad hose, alloy housing which also has oil cooler pipes connection, unbolt and change thermostat?

Yes, it's the alloy cover on the end of the bottom rad hose, they aren't oil cooler pipes though, one goes to the heater matrix, and one goes to the expansion tank (IIRC)

Oh, thought that alloy cover thing was all part of this "mogul" or whatever its called. The coolant pipe and has oil pipes above it? Mine's MY02 if that makes any difference...its been a while since I've looked under there so cant remember if what I'm saying is whats there or not, just from memory...(which is lacking with age!)

Cheers chap

Doh, yeh, thats the one I was thinking of...I'll just trace back from bottom rad hose to alloy housing...cant go wrong.
