No specials came with a scoop..

I don't see the problem with sport owners fitting turbo bonnets, you don't make comments about turbo wheels, or turbo interior, or anything, so why the bonnet? Not as if they're sticking turbo badges on..

I usually see 250 - 275 to 3/4 of a tank and I do "have fun" at times.

I'd get the Lambda and Maf checked if I were you.

That kind of sucks. Over here they're considered an "Impreza L" Mine had a 1.8 in it, I swapped a 2.2 into it a month ago. 30mpg puttering around town, the same the 1.8 had.

corse it was a clasic, same shape as mine mate lol. trust me i know my scoobies now, it said sport special on the side etc, and it was the same exact bonnet scoop off a classic facelift turbo. it had the sport 15" wheels, was in yellow and looked totally identical to a turbo except the vents on the bonnet werent there.

and it was from a dealer as it had a eddie wrights number plate on it. trust me that scoop was meant to be there... maybe it was a bonnet transplant with the vents smoothed over, but defo meant to be there or i wouldnt have mentioned it.

bonnet transplant my dear lol. has the two vents to if you look reet up close.

when i had my sport after passing my test i bought genuine scoop and vents off ebay for £80 and was gonna have them fitted to a new turbo bonnet and get it sprayed. easy enough job... straight swap with the bonnets. crashed it though

by the way editing on the above comment by me... it didnt have the turbo burble as ive had both sport and wrx so know the difference. it had a huooj magnex backbox on though and sounded nice but was definaley naturally aspirated and not turbocharged...

andy.
