It's going to be an impressive car. Quicker to sixty that the 335i (3l turbo petrol).

the 335i packs closer to 350hp than the 300hp bmw claim, and I have the graphs to prove it.

Wait until the production cars are out then we'll look at the graphs. They can't make it too quick or the M3 won't sell.

Is the 335i petrol very tunable, I would expect it it, two turbos, lowish boost pressure.

335 will easily be tunable to beat the e46 m3....and who knows may even beat the new m3...in which case people may opt for the 335 rather than the m3....

I don't think it will be that tuneable. The turbos maybe tiny which means they can't have much more power extracted from them.

Also small intercooler, high compression, the injectors might be small and tricky to upgrade (direct injection).

And in terms of balance, more importantly no limited slip differential

Why have they stopped using the virtual lsd?...

On the older cars you can turn off the DSC. Which in turn activated the virtual LSD. No stability control, no throttle override, but rear brakes will individuallly activate on the slipping wheel. Worked quite well imo.
