Last Of The Summer Camp Trips
#33
Another worthwhile route is via the edge of Otley through Pool and up past the reservoirs (Fewston/Swinsty), then along the A59 for a short while, turning off to do Greenhow Hill From Greenhow head for Grassington and on to Kilnsey etc.

JB, what time you finishing work on Sat?
If it's not silly o'clock you could come straight over, seeing as you're halfway there anyhow.
Don't worry about the tent, you can have a room in mine for the night.
Just a thought.

Ain't sure about beer and food ,apart from plenty of beer.....
But as for a meeting point, there's a pub just off a roundabout on the A65 in Burly in warfedale, near Ilkley...Big car park,
Thats if were planning on going that way, through Bolton Abbey and beyhond....
Say what 10.30ish....Then we should be at horton for 12.00 at latest, which gives us the full afternoon to have a mooch about Settle or somewhere....
Think the pub is called the Generous Pioneer ,but ain't 100%
If it is here is a link to the map....

Open to suggestions though......

In the past when we've done the odd Dales run we meet at this lay-by on the A65 just outside Burley-in-Wharfedale, where the dual carriageway reduces to single.
