the whole point is this, poeple come on here and make all sorts of claims about they got this and got that, and half the time its complete bull. mate of mine had a big engine build done and got 400bhp, at the wheels, but he didn't just get it by boltingon a big turbo and changine the exhaust, he had to change a hell of alot and also the whole engine block, he had 2.33L built, with required upgrades all round including internals, injectors ecu, exhaust and a huge garret gt30 turbo.

your first post when asked about spec was you had this done, headers, decat, fuel pump, ecu and map.

more or less every person reading it would have said, he's talking out his ****, cos you can't get those kind of figures from those mods.

So whats the verdict then, is he full of s##t, is abbys dyno a load of crap or what.

Maybe he has direct port nitros injection and a stand alone fuel manangement system like in "the fast and the furious"!!! lol

if you go by list of ods put up initaly, full of it.

if you then go by revised list that was added after people had asked about specific parts then its possible, but i was asking myself, why does he only add it to the list after people mention it?

also posible that abbey are pullin a fast one,

but thats my opinion

only joking....
Pine air tree freshner is worth at least 2 TD05 20gs!!! If you've got neons on that bad boy, you're looking at circa 700bhp. Challenge Andy to a drag race!!!

StiProdrive: I had a threesome with Coleen and Bianca out of Celebrity Love island yesterday. What do I have in common with your RR print out??

We're both lying!

You simply wont make a genuine 400bhp with the mods in your original list and -a word to the wise- Bob Rawle and Andy F are the two most respected Subaru tuners in the UK, if they tell you something, you can take it to the bank!

If we are comparing dynos and whose ***** is bigger! then here is my contribution to the I've got a medium sized ***** club

http://www.custom-graphics.de/graphi...by/bbsl558.xls

MY00 GT

(engine only mods)

ECUTEK mapped by Bob Rawle
VF24 Turbo
Scoobysport DP
Prodrive resonated middle section
Power Engineering T75 Back Box
MRT 4.5kg Flywheel
Perrin 500g Crank Pully
APS CAK
Autobahn88 FMIC
Samco Coolant hoses
3 Port Boost Solonoid.
MY97/98 Dump Valve

This graph is a bit out of date as the car was mapped on crap 97 ron UK fuel and had a leaking BOV, which has now been replaced.

Quite an amusing thread...

Seems STIprodrive just doesn't know the full modifications to their car and so is difficult to work out if the truth is being told or figures are accurate. So could be a little harsh to call them a liar without the full spec.

Anyway, it is sometimes easier to let these people just get on with it rather than arguing. I knew someone who claimed their Fiesta mk 2 XR2 did 120mph 5 up in third gear. Only mod was a Peco exhaust and clear indicators, I just let these people get on with it.

Would Abbey not have confirmed the mods prior to the run or is it just a case of whacking it on and seeing what it produces?

Chavs, nice.

You're questioning people that know a lot more about cars, in particular subarus, and their performance.

If you're trying to advertise and praise Abbey, you're not doing a very good job.

thought the approx loss was nearer 26% aka 500bhp = 400bhp at the wheels?

On the contrary Gaz, I think I'll pay em a visit; no doubt my car would produce some equally favourable results.

Whilst I'm there I think I'll photocopy my *****, just to find out if their Dynos optimism has rubbed off on the photocopier!!!

PS I think this post may get me banned from the office of the Subaru Specialists I visit

Well it used to be Xtreme Scoobies and Api, but they've both just E-mailed me to say that in light of the above post, they'd prefer it if I didn't come back
