Well seen as a few are wondering what to do with all these Scoobs I was thinking something along the lines of a GumBall3000 rally but touring Wales.
It would take a lot of planning and organising so not sure when this could take place. An example of what I was thinking was.
£200 to enter the rally (which would include)
£80 x2 for 2 hotel nights
£40 then goes into winners purse.
Start point - South Wales - Friday , travel to North Wales
2nd Check point - North wales , staying over night.
travel on saturday morning down west coast
3rd Check point -West wales , staying over night.
travel on sunday morning along south back to mid wales for finish.
If we had 130 entries that gives a
winners purse of £3000 ,
runner up £1000,
£200 to each club - Mid wales scoobys, North wales and south wales.
leaving £600 for a chariety.
But as with the Gumball Rally its not a race so the winner isn't the actual winner of the prize . The winner is the one who has had the best time , partying , driving etc.
Each driver is given a card for clocking their times on arriving at check points etc.
So in all, yeah a sort of meet but over a weekend and having a bit of driving inbetween. Plus a winners purse.
So what do you think??

I think a welsh tour might be in order up to the north with an overnight stay will be great fun and will not cost the earth.
I'm more than happy to sit down with you and put something together, its something we have talked about for a little while and a good idea for the winter months when the show season has come to an end.

A "Welsh" meet/cruise sounds much better... I think getting £200 out of each member is steep IMHO. 
Why don't we all do a charity event for Cancer Research UK (or something along those lines). In my experience this would generate more good feeling in what we are doing and would be fun at the same time.
What do you think of that?
Get a load of people to sponsor us, have a mass meet and get some good publicity for the Welsh forums!!!

Yes I know what you mean Kev it would take alot.
The other idea about the big meet and cruise would be nice and like Ricky has said it could be done for charity.

An all Wales meet at the bay when the rally is on would draw alot of positive attention especially if magazines and sponsors of WRC could be encouraged to attend. There is still plenty of time to arrange this. It doesn't have to be limited to only Welsh members. Other clubs could be invited to attend.
