keep it standard !!!!!!!! look after it and it should keep going and going the key to any car really! in theroy a sti should take more abuse because forged pistons etc made for hard driving ? i did 20 000 in me old one in 12 months and nothing ever broke just change the oil every month warmed up and cooled down by religon.

Is it true SamsSTI that STIs are hard to get rid of? If you dont mind me asking, do you have an STI? Do you find that your STI is easy to live with or is it a pain?

to be honest a sti is hard to get rid of like any high powered jap import the insurance is to high for normal peeps ! trying to sell a skyline is worse! had me v1 sti in the trader for 6 weeks before it went and bear messing about the first to see bought. own a mint v5 sti now in white .got a skoda felica to run to work and back to keep be bru mint only use it on special occasions. just the same as a wrx to live with. just the same but better engine etc but the grey suade seats burn very easily i know dont let the gash smoke in ya rod !!!!!!! ha ha:.the be all and end all is that look after it and it will look afther you

well you clearly enjoy having an STI and fair play to you! I dont hink I've met anyone who has so good for you!

You obvously dont find it a pain like others which is unorthodox but refershing nonetheless!
Good luck with your STI mate!!

I have just got a wrx sti and find it a bit slugish pulling away.

Is this me still getting use to the car or the car itself. Once it gets going, it's like a beast, can't hold it back, just egging you on to put your foot down.

Find it hard going from 1st to 2nd.

Find it can still do slow speeds in 3rd and to get it back into 2nd you have to be doing 10mph and 1st have to be almost stopped.

Is it me still learning the scooby ways?
