As already said on this thread there are alot of Scoobies out there, for example look on pistonheads web site, 50ish Evo's compaired to 250ish Scoobies for sale. I went to trade my 2002 WRX in for a newer STI last year but I would have lost so much money so I've decided to keep the WRX. A totally new model should spice things up because the current one is on its last legs, but this new model will increase the depreciation even more on older models.
IMHO, Wolfie.

Andy,
Don't sell the Fozzie!
Think about all the things you can do (fuel consumtion aside) with it you can't with an ordinary deisil.
You offered me good advice when I first started on here, hope you keep the Fozzie.
Kind regards
Alan MaC

Except for halcyon days of 1999 with wait lists and God status for owners etc I'd say this car has always done what it ought to on the market, because..........
- whilst very good, it is a niche product
- it costs a packet to run
- wings and bonnet scoops aren't mass market
- whilst cultish still it isn't premium
But there are some things that haven't helped. If I ran IM ..........
- I wouldn't have bought so many STI into the UK ( even more of a niche product)
- I would have stuck to limited issue performance variants e.g. 22b, p1, terzo
- I would stop endless facelifts which impact consumer confidence ( although was a neccessity with the bodged bug eye facelift.)
- Ditch the crappy marketing e.g. 3k free fuel

he makes a point u know
i was ready to buy the car anyway and then OUT OF THE BLUE they gave free fuel ! Jokers
WHats the point.... i doubt you would give any1 more incentive to buy it.
your buying it coz u want it .. end of. your not buying it coz of fuel
they must have some real dumbass in their marketing department
