It took nearly 4 weeks for mine to go, a few people wanted it but they were offering stupid money saying they can get one for £2000. If you are patient though a buyer who knows a good example and wants a well looked after one will come along and pay that bit extra. So stick with it be patient and you will get a good price, but i fear not the amount you want.
As for you Neutral Cruiser, the car was used properly on track and up the pennines and never once was there a problem with the gearbox, you must just be a poor driver!!!
