I saw the bike too...

I did enjoy the play on the Motorway... Had fun trying to decipher Daz showing 3 fingers then beeping his horm three times... realised he wanted a race I can vouch that he pulled away from me quite tidily

We carried the fun to a Wakefield roundabout where we compared the lateral G limits.... very similar surprisingly at constant speed (Daz resisting the tempation to squirt it on a straight bit).. the scoob may have a little more grip due to the weight etc... but the Atom looked so composed and flat.. great stuff.

found lots of scoobys but didn't see any WYIOC t-shirts

parked up in a line of scoobys in the field... hung around for an hour or so... asked 3 random people in subaru attire if they were WYIOC bods (they weren't)... felt a complete **** out on my own... gave up n went home

i know, i should have asked for some one's contact phone number as i don't know what any of you look like

We ended up parkin in main car park...

Did you see the yellow Atom ,we were stood near that,,about six of us...

Mick and Paul were parked up in field,,,we'll need better organisation next time....

Next meet is a camp trip next Sat the 16th if u fancy that one night in horton about an hour away..... see thread "Last of the summer camp trips"

Should be a good trip quite a few up for it.....

 

I did look around for you... but as I'm married, with three Kids.. it would have been a little awkward (but fun) aprroaching young ladees asking them if they were looking for me... I mean.. I used this chat up line in the 70's.. It didn't work then!

Sorry we missed you ... But we were stood next to the Atom... did you see that in the bottom part of the car park?

I think our next major trip out is the Trackday.. to which you are more than welcome to attend to watch or drive.. we'll probably meet at the Trading Post in castleford.. and seeing that it'll just be us.. you should have no probs finding us!!

But there a few other trips in pipeline to SMACS, camping etc that you can get on to......
