the only crime i can see in that vid is the lack of a stand or tripod, and too much wind blowing past the mic (use a seperate mic with a sock to cut down on wind noise), dont do on a "dark" day and PLEASE use a decent editing software (Windows MovieMaker is easy to use and can give some good results)
oh, and next time, let someone with a bit of flair near the cam.

its goes something like this....

you want a impreza so you put your car you currently have uo for sale/swap...

somebody email`s you saying they are interested,so you go and look, have a test drive, fall in love, forget all common sense like is the engine ok,blah...blah....blah....

go round with big grin at the power delivery the stat to realise while sat in traffic......is that a knoc i can hear??? so you rev slightly and realise....oh **** i dont think thats right :-( ..............................

then you check the oil and its low....hmmm ok top it up rattle goes away... FOR 2 DAY!... then rattle back and its worse and its used some oil...

(AT THIS POINT YOU REALISE THE CAR WAS SOLD AS IT HAD A FARKED ENGINE)

1 day later the car sounds like a train and you realise you have been done up like a kipper (take it on the chin and sort another engine + some sweet upgrades so you are back on the road with a sound car AND A LITTLE MORE RESPECT!)

oh then you post a video on the net......get the **** taken out of you.....take that on the chin also.....and have ppl arguing over it!!!!....

i did what i did..... posted it was childish....took it on the chin!

I HOPE YOU LOT NEVER HAVE A CAR SOUND LIKE THAT!!!.

Darren *that engine still runs* maybe some new oil and a filter and it will b e sweet!

no not oil...STUPIDITY... went to look and test drive a car without doing any research,no mechanical knowledge, and my brain ended up in the seat of my pants....test drive was awsome.....

think he overfilled it with oil to supress the rattle.

so a lesson learnt... do some research, sign up to a forum and see if somebody has a spare hour to come and have a look with you....

i am sure there are members on here that would be glad to lend a bit of time to aid a new scooby owner......

350 spin???????

It's going to be hard to got those 9 wasted minutes back.

It's been said before,

At the end of the day, this is just a forum,no ones opinion really counts, if you were happy making the vid, cool, thats all that counts.

i agree tho,get the GF to vid herself and post that.much more entertaining 9 minutes me thinks.

Before everyone starts condemming this lad think back at the stupid things that we have all done and if anyone says that they have always been sensible then you are talking out of your a**e.

Admittedley it was a bit silly near a junction but imo seemed to have good visability and lets face it we've seen a lot, lot worse on the roads.

How many here have been on a run and gone a little bit daft and OTT and later thought 'that was a feckin' bit silly calm down'

It takes ***** to admit you were silly and wrong and he did - so lay off him a little chaps.
