How come people are posting their last 25 cars instead of the last ONE like they were asked?
Joint Maticulation Board: Q. Describe the function of DNA polymerase.
Scoobynet user: A. Ok, here's what I did on my holidays.

VW Jetta Mk 2 GTI 16v. The Scooby (an L-series 1.8 wagon) was bought in case second son arrived in the depths of a Shetland winter and I needed to do the 20 mile trip to hospital in winter conditions
In the event, ****wit father in law wrote the Scooby off and I had to do the 20 mile trip in winter conditions in the Jetta

Mine was only about 260-270 and that was loads of fun.
Is a 1.8T conversion or vr6 with forced induction?

Escort s2 RS turbo (hybrid T3, kent cam unknown chip) approx 200 bhp
Fiesta RS turbo (Hybrid T3 conversion, stage 2 head & collins chip) 180 bhp
Honda civic Type R (standard 197 bhp)
Porsche boxster S ( standard 280 bhp
Classic Subaru WRX type RA (320 bhp) Quickest car I've owned
I do fancy a Honda Integra DC5 Type R next, but I will never part with the Scooby.

Mine sound boring compared to some of those...
Astra 1.6 gl on a 'g'
Mazda 626 on a 'k' (lots of motorway journeys at the time- ate them up)
Vauxhall Astra 2.0 sport on a 'r'
Mazda 323 2.0 v6 on an 'n' (150 bhp but smooth and deceivable quick)
then the wrx 2002 with minimal mods - engine soon being mapped...

Not really anything wrong with the Leon..personally think they look great, great spec inc 18's as standard, always felt quick but sometimes an issue putting the power down through 2 wheels.
Was a bit of a mad moment looking at new cars in the showroom when I got it(you know how it is)after the big end went on my first scoob.
Was just that I missed the sound, drive and raw feel of my classic
Got a my99 uk DBM at present gradually getting more modified!!
Up your way in 2 weeks for a Tek3 remap with Andy F
Cheers Matt

Hi MattPatt,
Cheers. Was over at Andy's in Port Seton 3 weeks ago getting my 01 WRX remapped. I can heartily recommend his work. He made a decent car into
an exceptional car (IMHO). Also, the Ecutek sticker goes well with my met green Scoob !! Would recommend doing the suspension if you haven't already.
PS email him for directions - his wee garage's door has no company title on it so crooks don't suss him out !
Andy Mc
PS Say hi for me - I was in a green bugeye with prodrive lights.
