You cannot be serious!
I'm waiting for a price on the Hilti off of a "contact", but I think the Makita's got Bubba written on it.
And it means my w*rkmate can't nick my batteries and wear them out with his angle grinder.

Is that an SDS, though, hectic? I'm not in the market for one of those, unfortunately.

Bubba! 'Off of'?! I thought you didn't do colloquialisms?

To blast big holes through hardwood, and then be light enough to use as a screwgun all day is asking a bit much of one drill. It's going to have to be a right old lump to do the first task, then light enough to save user fatigue for the second.
these are very good ( i have 2 ), the handle at the back is removeable, and well balanced becuase of the shape. There are two triggers ), percussion if you need it for those 'screamer' moments, and the slow seting will tear your wrist off..

you still have 18v batteries & charger from the dead dewalt?

User fatigue? What a load of limp-wristed fannies!
I'm having the makita.
The DeWalt isn't dead, it's just badly damaged. Can you buy ABS plastic weld solution?
