Nevertheless, 2.3 units per hour with the steamer @ 0.0975 x estimated 100 man hours is still £22.45p and a hell of a lot more expensive than paste at £0.98p per bag

Hey, if you want to come round and show us that you can do it any quicker then you are more than welcome too. Without the benefit of 'soaking' it took laura 2 hours to do the back wall of a cupboard that was approximately 2m x 1.5m - that was to totally remove the stuff including all the wee sh*tty bits

Leccy blows for heating and cooking - you get raped for it! Next house I'm going to ensure it has a gas supply or is in a really hot country

No supply from the main road up to the flats. Transco said they will do it for £750 per unit if we get 10 people to sign up. Add on top of that the cost of installing the GCH throughout the flat and its probably not worth it unless you intend to stay get full use out of the system over many years. I also can't be bothered trying to gather 10 other peeps!

Yeah, not worth your while then. Sell up, and move on. Better spending your £££'s on somewhere YOU are going to stay in rather than doing an uneccessary renovation on somewhere you may leave soon. Do a quick 'makeover' and sell up.
