So just cause i have only been a member for 5 minutes as you put it, i dont have enough about me as a person to know when people are just being plain rude.

And because i havent posted that often, or because i didnt join that long ago means i dont know what i am talking about?

Your reply only serves to prove my point.

I think you, and those like you are the ones who need to 'Get over themselves' thinking they can talk to other people exactly as they like and think no one else will say anything.

The way you use this site is exactly the reason a lot of members are going elsewhere or have just stopped using the site altogether.

All i want to do, is enjoy my car and talk to others who have the same interest. Have a laugh? Of course, but i dont call down right insults 'having a laugh'

Total rubbish. Quite a number of my posts, and the posts of others you want to chastise, are quite informative and helpful to others. It's only when a total **** pops his head up from the duvet in some ignorant and childish rant that they are flamed. It's the same on any BBS apart from the more anally moderated ones, and they are the most boring sites to flick through.

The simple fact that this site has many non Impreza owners speaks for itself IMHO. If it was up to me, I'd close free access and make this forum subscription only. That might weed out the total **** on here.

Well go do that then, nobody is stopping you, enjoy your Sport.

As I have said before, threads like this are commonplace on Scoobynet, and have been common on here from the start. Part of its success is because of this and why it's been so successful over the years.

BTW some of the funniest threads on here have been about Sport owners modding their cars to look like turbos, then being mocked by turbo owners. Do a search and you'll find them, they go back years and years.

hello, just thought i would put my point of view on this whole lot of stupidity

firstly, where does it say in the word 'scoobynet' that this is a site for TURBO'S ONLY????

I own a sport, and i'm proud of it. i am only 21 so i think i own one of the best cars around, without being stung on insurance.

Apart from the bonnet, the cars LOOK exactly the same, so for those of us who arent just speed freaks, and can enjoy a car for its cosmetic reasons, as well as the speed and sound of it, the sport is perfect!

also, you have obviously done a search on DannyBwoy, and no doubt will do one on myself.... so tell me then... if everyone who owns a sport puts a turbo bonnet on, where are the turbo bonnets on our cars???

i know for a fact that someone will reply to this taking the p*ss out of something i have said, but to be honest i dont care. i am above anyone who replies to my thread.

thats it from myself and DannyBwoy now, we will just enjoy reading any more stupidity that is posted on Scoobynet.

so go ahead, prove me and DannyBwoy wrong, and have enough about you to not reply.....

bet you just cant resist...

Looks like you can't resist either

Hit a raw nerve have I? I used that as an example of flaming that has gone on for years and years on Scoobynet, proving that this kind of thing isn't new. Where have I said anything bad about Sports on here?

Since you want to bang on and on about your Sport. Why buy a Sport for cheap insurance blah, yawn, blah, then mod it to the extent that it looks like a very high group Turbo. I assume that your insurance company is charging you quite a lot for this (assuming they know of course ) thus defeating the object.

Ahem, yes I do agree apart from your listed mods Coupled to this you post up a picture of a car with a big rear spoiler and front spoiler and proclaim you want your car to look like this. And to cap it all off, it's all on a thread called "work in progress". Doesn't quite all fit together does it?

Full Turbo 2000 interior (seats and door cards)
Turbo Steering Wheel
Momo gear ****

Borla (sounds mint !! )
Cobra 5" back box
18" Inovit Rota Tarmac replicas
Crystal light pack
Colour coded wedges
De-Stickered

No I didn't originally look at his previous posts (as I noticed the Sport thread previously), I have only just done so now. I shan't bother going through your paltry post count as you'll no doubt have posted up just as much boring dross as he has.

Anyway, I'm off to do what any other Alpha male does on a Sunday, off to the pub, watch a match and have a few beers.

Enjoy your nutroast dinner.

Again, where is the slagging off? Where have I said the Sport's crap and ****e? Nowhere, stop making something out of nothing.

Are you very thick or something? I'm on about the silver car on this thread
https://www.scoobynet.com/do-you-thi....html?t=545396

I wasn't talking about whatever car you have, indeed I haven't even seen a blue one that is supposed to be yours.

WHO LOOKS THE IDIOT NOW.

He says you own a turbo, you say you own a Sport. Or are you not a couple at all and I've got it all wrong?

find this really sad to be honest. Thsi turning into a barry boys style site where a few sad little inderviduals just slate other people, would be different would if it wasnt over compters! Each to thier own without people being different chahnged wouldnt happen. But then if you want to be a sheep thats fair enough own preference. Most people could get a turbo but dont see the point in paying the mad insurance costs. I also do a lot of miles so running a turbo would not be practical atm, 20,000 miles in my sport and all it needed was covered in services! plus some disks and pads.... if thats ****e then :P

Again, who is slating Sports? Doing a lot of miles? I would have thought a diesel would be better, especially as mpg between a sport and a turbo isn't massively different.

I agree with this turning into a Barryboy site. Seems that there is a direct correlation between new members and very, very poor spelling. Yourself included.
