Eye injuries are not nice at all. When grinding 2 part foam & fibreglass while repairing a yacht, turned the air grinder and blew a lot of it into my eyes. A guy had to hold my eye open while they took me to hospital so I wouldn't blink and scratch it to hell. Then had it clipped open, flushed out and had a patch for about a month.
All my other injuries (see above) although painful were not as horrible as this.
Shudder!!!!!

Tell me about it! I've been reading the books for nearly 20 years but I'm obviously doing something wrong!

Plus I had meningitis at 18 months old, and a brain tumour in 1998 but hey I'm alive but not kicking so much as my right leg is and can be very painful

Stitches in head doing a backflip on a BMX

Broke a rib when trying a 90-role when snowboarding (thought that was the most pain i would experience, then...

Broke my back when snowboarding.
- Wasn't sure about walking again etc, but all OK now. Just get back ache every so often.

Some pattern started to emerge, so switched to freeriding instead of freestyling.

I shattered my sternum into about 30 bits like a wafer and broken two ribs in a car accident when I got my car airborne. The sternum was agony and took over a year to heal but the drugs were good, tramadol chloride.

2nd degree burns and then at the same time torn the ligaments in my back, but the drugs were good, valium.

Dislocated little finger, pushed that fella back in.

When I was young I sat down on a 6 in nail which went straight through my foot and I pulled it out. Hurt a fair bit, drugs, none was too young.

Other silly injuries. Picked up a big crab when I was 11 which nipped me down to the bone whihc I could see on my thumb. That hurt a bit ! Electorcuted when trying to plug in a light, that threw me 20 ft across the room. What a buzz, I didn't even mean that pun there.

Silliest things that even happened where both whilst fishing. First one hooekd a big barbel and walked down stream and tripped over in a hole and fell over and hit my head on the ground whihc made a massive click in my neck whihc has always hurt since and a few weks ago when it was hot I was walking back with my fishing gear and the ground collapses beneath my feet and I bent my foot all the way forward damaging the nerve on top of my foot.

OK not all at the same time but;

broken five of my fingers,
dislocated left thumb,
fractured right wrist,
sprained left wrist multiple times,
tennis elbow (!) left side,
ruined left shoulder, don't know what I did, just couldn't lift my arm above shoulder height for about six weeks,
twisted my left hip,
blown ACL and MCL in right knee (three surgeries),
torn cartilage in left knee (surgery soon probably),
sprained\twisted ankles multiple times,
fractured left foot,
broken toe on right foot (compound break really gross!!),
broken right big toe,
multiple facial injuries (black eyes, grazing, bruising),
multiple concussions (to go with above ), best one
was when all i could remember was finishing uni, didn't know who my parents were and couldn't do ANY mental arithmetic for four days

erm, BMX responsible for al except the shoulder injury which was climbing

crap, nearly forgot cracking my head open playing on a building site at age 5, the hernia from si lait and the split between my big and first toes from judo, bled like an absolute bastid and had to be stitched up
