No probs mate, I know i've got some .45 round somewhere which I used to shoot in the Tommy Gun! Yes, I have a fully deactivated, Thompson Sub Machine Gun (fully restored by my Dad), complete with Violin Case, dummy rounds & a few 500 round drums

Beast to shoot before we had to deactivate her

Just read your link. I'd say defoo .303 now, and it could have come from Chiswell, as it was active during the time the 303 would have been the service round.

Red face be careful mate.

If you are into the realms of 9mm or 7.62 etc then it is prohibited and even it is a an old casing you could be opening up a can of worms.

Yes, when they banned handguns they also banned all personal reloading equipment to stop people making their own bullets

Presses, Casings, Powder etc.

Right, Just spoke to the Boss

A .303 round is an average of 1cm thick at the percussion cap (lip) & 2.5 – 3” in length

A .762 round is actually 308, but not as long as a .303

It could be either, the identifying mark is on the lip, by the percussion cap, it will have the bullet calibre

If it’s live, you wanna get shut mate (complete with bullet tip), hand it in to your local filth & say you found it walking the dog

Labour banning handguns because of Dunblane did absolutely nothing, Illegal Gun crime is on the increase more and more in the UK & Illegal firearms are easier than ever to get hold of.

Dunblane was a tragedy, however Labour took to persecuting all the 1000’s of legal handgun owners for one mans actions, one man who should never have held a firearms license as he had been in a mental institution, so the local force fcuked up & all those kids suffered.

The 1689 Human Bill Of Rights mentions something about we have the right to bare arms, this was an old law which shouldn’t have been ignored by Labour (as it was) Firearm’s dealers are trying to get this noticed so firearms can be brought back into legal ownership

http://www.constitution.org/eng/eng_bor.htm - Bill of Rights online – 2nd set of bullet points, 7th one down

Edit - Handguns can still be held providing you have a section 5 license (covers machine guns & CS Gas) - Only considered for dealers, so some dealers may be awarded a section 5 license & can legally own fully working machine guns & handguns, rare in occurance tho

Nope, gun crime is on the increase due to the expansion of the EU and the fact that border controls are relaxing... making it easy to smuggle fire arms into the UK.....

tbh mate gonna keep it, if do get interest from the police, well what can i say, they must be struggling to find someone to arrest, its in such bad condition theres 0 chance of it being used, and besides, just tell found it in the garden, which iy was pmsl

Only concern i have about it is if it still live and discharges (no bullet in it, but still goes off with a bang, think it has been fired though) shall have a look for the indent made by the firing pin.

if the casing is empty & there's no head (bullet) - it's dead
